Salaam,
I’m Aaliyah.
I was born and raised in Australia, and like many Muslim women here, I grew up learning how to balance faith, family, work, and self-care in a world that often overlooks our needs.
For a long time, I struggled with sensitive skin.
I tried many products that were labelled “clean” or “natural,” hoping they would finally work for me. But again and again, I found ingredients I wasn’t comfortable with, or formulas that irritated my skin.
I remember feeling unsure.
Reading labels carefully.
Second-guessing my choices.
Skincare became something I worried about, instead of something I enjoyed.
Over time, I realised I didn’t want to keep compromising.
I wanted skincare that was:
Simple.
Honest.
Truly halal.
And gentle enough for everyday use.
Something I could use without doubt.
Something that felt right — in every sense.
So I began to learn more.
I researched ingredients.
Spoke to suppliers.
Asked difficult questions.
Tested formulas slowly and carefully.
I returned to the ingredients our tradition has always valued —
tallow, honey, and olive oil.
Not because they were trendy,
but because they made sense.
They were nourishing.
They were time-tested.
They were trustworthy.
Tayyib began as something very personal.
It wasn’t created to compete with big brands or follow beauty trends.
It was created so Muslim women could finally have skincare they didn’t have to question.
Skincare that respects our faith.
Our health.
And our intelligence.
Today, every product we make carries that same intention:
Care for your skin.
Respect for your values.
Honesty in everything we do.
Thank you for being here.
And thank you for trusting us.
With sincerity,
Aaliyah
